Asia Briana Brown is a spoken word artist and a native of New Orleans and lived there with her family until Hurricane Katrina devastated their home in August 2005. Asia has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in English. She is published in other poetry collections, including A Collection of SISTAHS: Sisters Inspiring Souls to Attain Higher Success. Asia resides in North Carolina.
